तस्मात्त्वमुत्तिष्ठ यशो लभस्व जित्वा शत्रून् भुङ्क्ष्व राज्यं समृद्धम्। मयैवैते निहता: पूर्वमेव निमित्तमात्रं भव सव्यसाचिन्॥
इसलिए उठ खड़े हो, विजय प्राप्त कर, यश और समृद्ध राज्य का भोग कर। तेरे जिन शत्रुओं को तू मारने वाला है — उन्हें मैंने पहले ही नष्ट कर दिया है। तू केवल निमित्त मात्र (माध्यम) बन जा, हे सव्यसाची (अर्जुन)।
