इहैव तैर्जितः सर्गो येषां साम्ये स्थितं मनः। निर्दोषं हि समं ब्रह्म तस्मात् ब्रह्मणि ते स्थिताः॥
जिनका मन समता में स्थित है, उन्होंने इस जीवन में ही संसार को जीत लिया है; क्योंकि ब्रह्म दोषरहित और सम है — इसलिए वे ब्रह्म में स्थित होते हैं।
Those whose minds are established in equality have already conquered worldly existence. For Brahman (the Supreme) is flawless and equal — therefore, they are established in Brahman.
"वह महिला जो सबको बराबर मानती थी" शीर्षक: “मंदिर की प्यारी माँ” बनारस के एक मंदिर में एक बुजुर्ग महिला रहती थीं। जो भी मंदिर आता — गरीब भिखारी हो या अमीर मेहमान — वह सबको एक जैसा प्रसाद देतीं। मुस्कुराते हुए कहतीं “बाहर सब अलग होते हैं, पर अंदर हम सब एक ही चिंगारी हैं।” किसी ने उनसे पूछा — “क्या आप कभी किसी को बड़ा या छोटा समझती हैं?” वह हंसकर बोलीं — “जिसने ये भेद मिटा दिया, उसने ज़िंदगी जीत ली।” सीख: गीता भी कहती है — जब मन में सबके लिए समानता होगी, तब ही असली मुक्ति मिलेगी।
"The woman who considered everyone equal" Title: “The beloved mother of the temple” An old woman lived in a temple in Banaras. Whoever came to the temple – be it a poor beggar or a rich guest – She would give the same prasad to everyone. She would say smilingly – “Everyone is different from the outside, But inside we all are the same spark.” Someone asked her – “Do you ever consider anyone big or small?” She laughed and said – “The one who has erased this difference has won life.” Lesson: Gita also says – When there is equality for everyone in the mind, Only then will one get real liberation.
"वह कैदी जो अंदर से आज़ाद हो गया" शीर्षक: “जेल के अंदर भी आज़ादी” राजू एक अपराध के लिए जेल में था। पहले वो गुस्सा करता था, दूसरों को दोष देता था, और जाति-धर्म के भेद करता था। फिर उसने गीता की एक क्लास जॉइन की। वहाँ उसने एक श्लोक पढ़ा जिसने उसे हिला दिया। राजू बोला —“मैं बाहर से जेल में हूँ, पर अब अपने मन से आज़ाद हूँ, क्योंकि मैंने दूसरों को अलग-थलग करना छोड़ दिया।” संदेश: जब तुम सबको बराबर समझने लगते हो, तब तुम्हें अंदर की सच्ची आज़ादी मिलती है।
"The Prisoner Who Became Free From Inside" Title: “Freedom Even Inside Jail” Raju was in jail for a crime. At first he used to get angry, blame others, and discriminate on the basis of caste and religion. Then he joined a Gita class. There he read a shloka that shook him. Raju said —“I am in jail from outside, but now I am free from my mind, Because I have stopped isolating others.” Message: When you start treating everyone as equal, Then you get true freedom inside.
"वह गुरु जो सबको प्यार करता था" शीर्षक: “जिसने नफरत को देखा ही नहीं” स्वामी सुदर्शन एक दिन एक कार्यक्रम में थे। कुछ लोग उनसे नाराज़ होकर जोर-जोर से चिल्लाने लगे। पर स्वामी जी मुस्कुराए और बोले — “तुम सबके अंदर वही भगवान है जो मेरे अंदर है। तुम मुझे पसंद नहीं कर सकते, पर मैं तुमसे नफ़रत नहीं कर सकता।” कुछ दिन बाद, वह आदमी आया और माफी मांगी। उसने कहा —“आपने मुझे मेरा गुस्सा छोड़ना सिखाया।” संदेश: जो दिल से सबको बराबर देखता है, वही सच्चा शांति का रास्ता दिखाता है।
"The Guru Who Loved Everyone" Title: “Who never saw hatred” Swami Sudarshan was at a program one day. Some people got angry with him and started shouting loudly. But Swami Ji smiled and said — “The same God is inside all of you who is inside me. You may not like me, But I cannot hate you.” A few days later, that man came and apologized. He said — “You taught me to give up my anger.” Message: The one who sees everyone as equal from the heart, He shows the path of true peace.
