तदित्यनभिसन्धाय फलं यज्ञतपःक्रियाः। दानक्रियाश्च विविधाः क्रियन्ते मोक्षकाङ्क्षिभिः॥
‘तत्’ शब्द का उच्चारण करके, फल की अभिलाषा न रखते हुए जो यज्ञ, तप और दान किए जाते हैं — वे सब मोक्ष की इच्छा रखने वालों द्वारा किए जाते हैं।
With the utterance of 'TAT', acts of sacrifice, austerity, and charity are performed without desire for results, by those who seek liberation (moksha).
"वह दादाजी जिसने सिर्फ़ नाम में सुख पाया" शीर्षक: “कुछ चाहिए नहीं — बस भक्ति चाहिए” श्रीधर दादाजी रोज़ मंदिर में झाड़ू लगाते, फूल चढ़ाते और भगवान का नाम लेते। ना कोई पैसा लेते, ना कोई शोहरत चाहते। लोग हैरान होकर पूछते: “दादाजी, आपको क्या मिलता है इससे?” वो हल्के से मुस्कराते और कहते: “मुझे भगवान की शांति मिलती है — और क्या चाहिए?” “मैं ये सब इसलिए नहीं कर रहा कि मुझे कुछ इनाम मिले… बस मन की खुशी के लिए।” एक दिन किसी ने उन्हें गीता की ये लाइन सुनाई: “तत् इत्यनभिसन्धाय…” यानि — "बिना फल की इच्छा के किया गया काम — सच्चा पुण्य होता है।" श्रीधर दादाजी बोले: “मैं तो बस भगवान की सेवा कर रहा हूँ — बाकी सब उसी पर छोड़ दिया।” जहाँ ‘क्या मिलेगा’ की उम्मीद नहीं होती — वहाँ भगवान मिलते हैं। भक्ति तब सबसे सच्ची होती है, जब उसमें कुछ पाने की लालसा न हो।
"The grandfather who found happiness only in the name" Title: “I don’t want anything – just want devotion” Dada Shridhar would sweep the temple every day, offer flowers and take the name of God. He neither took any money nor wanted any fame. People would be surprised and ask: “Dada, what do you get from this?” He would smile slightly and say: “I get God’s peace – what else do I want?” “I am not doing all this to get some reward… just for the happiness of the mind.” One day someone told him this line from the Gita: “Tat ityanabhisandhaya…” That is – “Work done without the desire for reward – is true virtue.” Dada Shridhar said: “I am just serving God – I have left everything else to Him.” Where there is no expectation of ‘what will I get’ – God is found there. 👉 Devotion is truest when there is no desire to attain anything in it.
"वह दाता जो कभी सामने नहीं आया" शीर्षक: “ना नाम चाहिए, ना तारीफ़ — बस सेवा चाहिए” बेंगलुरु शहर में एक व्यक्ति हर महीने 100 बच्चों की स्कूल फीस भरता था। पर किसी को नहीं पता था — वो कौन है? ना फोटो, ना नाम, ना अख़बार की खबर। NGO वाले भी उसे ढूंढते रहे — पर हाथ कुछ नहीं लगा। बस एक छोटी सी चिट्ठी मिली, जिसमें लिखा था: “मैं बस मोक्ष (आंतरिक शांति) के रास्ते पर हूँ — मुझे प्रचार नहीं चाहिए।” और साथ में गीता की एक पंक्ति थी: “दानक्रियाश्च विविधाः… मोक्षकाङ्क्षिभिः।” मतलब: “जो लोग मोक्ष चाहते हैं, वो बिना किसी लालच के दान करते हैं।” सच्चा दान वही होता है — जो दिल से हो, दिखावे से नहीं। जब कोई आपको नहीं जानता, पर आप किसी की दुनिया बदल रहे होते हो — वही असली पुण्य है।
"The donor who never showed up" Title: “Neither name nor praise – just service is required” A man in Bengaluru city used to pay school fees of 100 children every month. But nobody knew – who he was? No photo, no name, no news in the newspaper. The NGO people also kept looking for him – but nothing was found. All they found was a small letter, which read: “I am just on the path of moksha (inner peace) – I don’t want publicity.” And with it was a line from the Gita: “Daanakriyashcha Vividhaah… Mokshakaङिभिः.” Meaning: “Those who want moksha, give donations without any greed.” True donation is that which comes from the heart, not for show. When no one knows you, but you are changing someone's world - that is real virtue.
"वह व्यक्ति जिसने सबकुछ छोड़ दिया" शीर्षक: “अब मुझे बस शांति चाहिए” अविनाश एक बड़ी कंपनी में नौकरी करता था। अच्छी सैलरी, बड़ा घर, गाड़ी — सबकुछ था। लेकिन एक दिन, उसने सब छोड़ दिया। लोग चौंक गए “इतना सब कुछ छोड़कर क्यों जा रहे हो?” अविनाश ने बस इतना कहा: “ॐ तत् सत् — अब मैं सिर्फ़ भक्ति, सेवा और ध्यान करना चाहता हूँ।” अब वह गाँवों में बच्चों को पढ़ाता है, ध्यान सिखाता है, और किसी भी काम का फल नहीं चाहता — बस शांति चाहता है। जिसे दिखावा नहीं चाहिए — वही असली साधक बनता है। मोक्ष का रास्ता त्याग और सेवा से होकर जाता है।
"The Man Who Left Everything" Title: “Now All I Want Is Peace” Avinash used to work in a big company. He had a good salary, a big house, a car — everything. But one day, he left everything. People were shocked — “Why are you leaving so much?” Avinash simply said: “Om Tat Sat — Now I just want to do Bhakti, Seva and Dhyan.” Now he teaches children in villages, teaches meditation, and doesn’t want the fruits of any work — just wants peace. One who doesn’t want show-off — only he becomes a real Sadhak. The path to Moksha goes through sacrifice and service.
