श्रीभगवानुवाच — काम एष क्रोध एष रजोगुणसमुद्भवः। महाशनो महापाप्मा विद्ध्येनमिह वैरिणम्॥
भगवान श्रीकृष्ण बोले — यह काम (इच्छा) और क्रोध, रजोगुण से उत्पन्न होते हैं। यह दोनों अत्यंत भूखे (तृप्त न होने वाले) और महान पापी हैं। इन्हें इस संसार में अपना शत्रु समझो।
The Blessed Lord said — It is desire, it is anger,born of passion (rajo guna), all-consuming and greatly sinful. Know this to be the enemy in this world.
“मुझे लगा कि यह प्यार है” शीर्षक: “जब इच्छा आसक्ति और क्रोध बन जाए" अमित एक होनहार कॉलेज छात्र था। वह किसी से प्यार करता था, लेकिन वह प्यार वापस नहीं था। धीरे-धीरे अमित का मन परेशान हो गया। उसने पढ़ाई छोड़ दी, खाना कम किया, और घंटों उसकी बातें ऑनलाइन देखता रहा। जब उसने किसी और को डेट करना शुरू किया, तो उसकी इच्छा क्रोध में बदल गई। वह झगड़ा करने लगा, कॉलेज की संपत्ति तोड़ी, और निलंबित कर दिया गया। बाद में, एक वेलनेस कैंप में ध्यान करते हुए, उसे यह श्लोक सुना — “इच्छा और क्रोध — दोनों अनियंत्रित भावनाएँ हैं, जो सब कुछ नष्ट कर देती हैं।” अमित रोया — न उस लड़की के जाने पर, बल्कि खुद को खो देने पर। सीख: इच्छा जब बढ़ती है तो आसक्ति बन जाती है, और आसक्ति क्रोध में बदल जाती है। यही असली दुश्मन है — जिसकी कृष्ण ने चेतावनी दी है।
“I thought it was love” Title: “When desire turns into attachment and anger” Amit was a bright college student.He fell in love with someone who didn’t feel the same. Slowly, his mind got troubled. He stopped studying, ate less, and spent hours watching her stories online. When he started dating someone else, his desire turned into anger. He got into fights, damaged college property, and got suspended. Later, at a wellness camp, he heard this verse — “Desire and anger are uncontrolled emotions that destroy everything.” Amit cried —not because she left, but because he lost himself. Lesson: When desire grows, it becomes attachment, and attachment turns into anger. This is the real enemy — which Krishna warned about.
बहुत आसान जीवन की कहानी: “लेकिन मैं इसकी हकदार थी!” शीर्षक: “जब अस्वीकृति क्रोध बन जाए” स्नेहा एक मेहनती कर्मचारी थी। उसे पदोन्नति की उम्मीद थी क्योंकि वह बहुत अच्छी काम करती थी। लेकिन जब उसका सहकर्मी प्रमोशन मिला,तो उसे बहुत बुरा लगा और वह टूट गई। पहले तो वह उदास रही, फिर उसने दूसरों की बाते करने लगी, और ऑफिस में तनाव फैलाने लगी। आखिर में उसे नौकरी छोड़नी पड़ी। महीनों बाद, एक कार्यशाला में उसने यह श्लोक सुना — “असली दुश्मन बाहर नहीं है। यह वह आवाज़ है जो कहती है — ‘मुझे यह चाहिए, नहीं तो मैं इसे नष्ट कर दूँगी।’” उसे समझ आया — उसकी महत्वाकांक्षा सही थी, पर लगाव गलत था। सीख: जब पुरस्कार की चाह ज़्यादा बढ़ती है, तो वह क्रोध बन जाती है, और इच्छा विनाश का कारण बन जाती है।
“But I deserved it!” Title: “When rejection turns into anger” Sneha was a hardworking employee. She expected a promotion because she worked well. But when her colleague got promoted, she felt very hurt and broken. First, she was sad, then she started gossiping, and created tension in the office. Finally, she had to leave her job. Months later, at a workshop, she heard this verse — “The real enemy is not outside. It is the voice that says — ‘I want this, or I will destroy it.’” She realized —her ambition was right, but her attachment was wrong. Lesson: When desire for reward grows too much, it turns into anger, and desire leads to destruction.

“Always one more” Title: “The cost of not saying no” Ravi had everything —a good job, loving wife, two kids. But he had one weakness — gambling. It started as fun, then he started betting big. Every time he won, he wanted more. Every time he lost, he burned with anger. One night, he lost ₹50,000. He yelled at his wife, sold jewelry, and even hit his son when he asked —“Why are you shouting?” Eventually, his family left. Ravi was alone and broken. In rehab, a sage read this verse: “Desire and anger — they are not feelings, they are demons. Feed them once, and they will consume you completely.” Ravi wept — “I thought I was chasing happiness, but Iwas running away from peace.”** Lesson: Desire and anger are fires inside, they never go out — if you let them grow, they burn everything down.
